* The LZW compression algorithm used in GIF and some TIF formats is patented by
UniSys in some countries. Therefore, Image Shrinker DOES NOT implement the LZW
algorithm. LZW-compressed TIF images will not show. GIF Files cannot be created
from within Image Shrinker, so the patent does not apply here.
